Tire Flips
I'm thinking up Tire Flip WODs/Finishers. They would have to be either team workouts or quick (couple of minutes) finishers as we only have two tires.
Here are my initial forays:
6 flip big tire/small tire
9 burpee
15 KB swing 32KG/24KG
9 burpee
6 flip big tire/small tire
Team workout:
Man Overboard, where 10 tire flips is the pace car.
Also, I'm going to put some handles on the big one (maybe the small one) so those of us who are not dino-strong can get it started.

That shit is HEAVY. But not so bad once you can get your fingers under it.
FAAAAHHHK! Nick is a monster. Everyone should try to flip the larger tire at least once sometime, so you know just how heavy that thing is. btw, Nick, I saw you posted on Facebook that you were sad that you couldn't flip tires for several days. Max, is it not allowed when you're not there? I would think you could do it whenever you please; There should be a a license: If you can actually do it, you can do it whenever you damn well please.
James, are you going to be at Edwards today to run? If so, how do I enter the facility and can we ride and secure our bikes there? I think Matthew and I are a go today.
Yep, I'll be there. From the corner of Oxford St. and Schlessinger Way, go east on Schlessinger (uphill) about 100 meters to an entrance on your right, just past the tennis courts. Hopefully the following link works.

Bring your bikes in and you can lock them up anywhere inside the stadium (that's what I do at least). So what time can you guys get there? There are less people the earlier you go. I can get there as early as 5:15-ish...let me know what works for you (and anyone else that might be reading this and wants to come too)
As for the tire flips...damn...I think Nick is going to give James C. some serious competition for Beast of the East(bay).
James-just talked to Matthew he's dropped out, social engagements, but being socially inept I am still available, will try and be up there at 5:15
A big thanks Bill for getting me motivated to run tonight when I wasn't feeling like it.
We did 4x400 - started each on the 5th minute
1:15, 1:13, 1:17, 1:16
Definitely not the beast of CEB, maybe whimpering poodle as I didn't even get to 21 rounds on Cindy...
