This is a pretty good, fairly mature overhead squat, overall an outstanding effort for a first heavy OHS attempt!

Did "Murph" today since I took Saturday a rest day. 81 Mins Rx, first time Rx. The last 20 pushups and the last mile were absolute hell, but overall much easier than earlier attempts!

I was there and saw some nice C2B pull-ups!

Thanks, any tips on how to practice the pushing off the bar at the top? Perhaps we should do some warmup drills targeting that aspect of pullups one of these days.. Otherwise I can't even imagine attempting 50 consecutive reps!

Great minds think alike Prasanna!! Did mine at the MLK middle school track in Berkeley.

Murph Rx - 20 pound pack and all chest to bar pullups. I basically did 10 rounds of double cindy (10 pullups, 20 pushups & 30 squats).

59:24 total - splits = 7:43, 2:08, 3:06, 4:05, 4:39, 4:42, 5:18, 4:30, 4:34, 4:32, 5:34, 8:34

Forgot to mention that the 20 pound pack was made from 2 liters of water, 2 bike locks, 5 box end wrenches and a leatherman tool. It might have been goofy, but it was 20 pounds worth of goofy.

Awesome James, under 1 hour with 20# pack! I'd like to be like you when I grow up.. :)

I guess great minds do think alike - I split the workout the same way, "double cindy" style.

"double cindy style"!drink the Kool-Aide! Drink it!I think next time this comes up I will get 50 pull ups and 100 push ups out of the way then do 5 - 10 - 30. The last mile sucks so it might be better to end with push ups somehow.

I was pretty happy with my 10-10-15-10-15 scheme (pullups, pushups, squats, pushups, squats) because 20 pushups in a row SUCKS.

Though, Max's idea of not doing the squats last thing before running sounds smart - so maybe in the last round I'd reverse the pushups & squats.
