CrossFit FAQ
1.3. What if I can't use the recommended weight?
Use a weight that's manageable to you, or use a percentage of the weight prescribed. Assume the "generic" male crossfitter weighs 175 and the prescribed weight is 95 lbs. Thus, you'd pick a weight that's approximately 55% of your bodyweight.
Based on this, the DL is 1.28% of "the average 175# male."
I have no idea how they calculate for female weights, since the difference b/w the male and female rx weight isn't always the same ratio.
I have to do this one my own. Hey, I know how to do deadlifts but I only have dumbbells. They are 20lbs each so I'll probably have to do extra reps. How do I work into handstand pushups? Should I get into position and hold it with my arms bent, sort if like a negative pull up?
9:57, used 135 dead lift and pylo box push ups.
Daniel- you will have to explain how you do ring assisted HSPU, I just can't picture how rings could help that situation.
Must we also make our pectoral muscles move and talk? I'm not sure how I feel about that.
I think I felt a bit like that on Sunday *laughs*
225 is about 80% of my 1RM - should I scale down, do you think? Might take forever otherwise...
WTF is up with these HSPU??? These doesn't look safe (nor do the deadlifts):

I think 225 IS my one rep max. I think I'm going to try 175???
