yes, Perhaps, but Matthew and I were wondering if anyone wanted to do a "Team Crossfit" as described in the Sunday National Crossfit site video. Crossfit Oakland does team Workouts with three people to a team. It works like a relay race. I might have to serve as Moderator as my Hamstring is pretty sore from Today's WOD. But if we had enough bodies..... and climb too.
Nevermind--here it is:
"Never Forget"--from video on natl. site on 12/28/08:
split up exercises as you wish among group (says four, but I guess however many show up):
1 m run
100 pull-up
60 ring dip
150 back extensions
150 sit-ups
400 squat
80 kb/db swing (55#/35#)
60 deadlift (250#/170#)
12 rope ascents (presumably 15 feet?)
I was thinking more along the lines of the December 13th 2008 Crossfit Oakland site, http://www.crossfitoakland.com/archives/2008/12/
Under the big stopwatch it lays out a set of rules and a "Lindaish" workout that might work best for us. This weightlifting WOD could be easily handicapped between different group strengths to generate competition.
Matthew on the otherhand suggested we do it playground style. Choose up Captains for each team and let them pick up teams. I might have to face the ignominious prospect of being picked last, but I think I can deal with that.
Ohhhh. Sorry for the confusion. Sure, I'd be down with that too. I think we'd have to do it upstairs, if that's okay. Also, we'd have to be crisp w/ the racking, since I doubt we'd all be using the same weight and I seem to remember this takes a long time to do.
Social climbing? Tomorrow? Ironworks? 6pm?
I'm batman? Tell your friends?

Bill and Matt: I'd be down for that. What's the wod? 6pm?
Intriguing, I'll be there. If we've got enough people, I'm in for the team WOD.

It doesn't have to be fun to be fun!
