Is it 1.5 pood for women?
1.5 for women. This one is tough, if you scaled it to 1.25P it would still be a great WOD.
Elaine and i were the only women who did throwdown today. She got the faster time but I don't recall what it was. I'm sure Rebecca and Polly will be doing this in the near future and before next weekend.
I will try to do the cleans tomorrow, injuries permitting. But I am quite sure that I won't be able to snatch the 1 pood kettlebell for 100 reps.

Day 6 done.
Day 6 done. I made "Holy Mole" pecans tonight for a family party tomorrow, and the recipe included sugar. Since I'd never made them before, I tried one to see if it was good enough, chewed a couple times, spat it out and then rinsed my mouth out.
This was difficult to do. They're very good.

Alex: you're joking, right? Eva T. is CrossFit OG, from HQ in Santa Cruz. She was an Olympic skiier and is a competitive weight-lifter and general CF badass. I'm sure you knew that, but just in case.

I used the Hand Thongs today with remarkable success. Typically my hands would have ripped after 50 or 60 Pull ups for sure. Today 150 Pull ups with only one small blister on the last round just outside of the left hand thong. The thongs themselves suffered no damage and will be reusable.
Popular calendar amongst the CF crowd, for sure. She is beautiful and wicked strong!
Ev you forgot super nice!
Eva is one of the most impressive Crossfit super-athletes, in my opinion. This workout definitely fits her to a "T" (possibly an "Eva T").
Good work today, everyone. You all seemed very unhappy during this wod. I actually felt bad for a while. The best performances were Alex (56:56) and Ev (1:03:15). Ev, correct me if I got your time wrong. I'm not sure about the seconds.

Franklin: I have no doubt that Eva is an awesome lady. I haven't had the privelege to meet her, as of yet. I did meet Nicole C. She was very nice.
Leon, I don't think anyone was unhappy, maybe apprehensive. For me ,at least, a large volume workout like EVA causes some apprehension, will I finish, should I scale back weight or reps,etc. but all in all I thought it went remarkably smooth and I was happy with my performance although I did scale back the KB weight. As with most of my Crossfit apprehension in retrospect it was silly.

Great metcon. I was apprehensive because it took Max 69 minutes to complete. I started sweating on the drive over to the gym, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. I was happy even though I didn't look it. Thanks Leon for leading the classes this weekend.

Well, after watching you all work so hard today, I felt a little jealous, so I did Saturday's WOD at home. AMRAP in 20 minutes of
12 kb DL
3 kb clean
3 kb push press
9 kb swing
3 kb clean
3 kb push press
1.5 pood kb. 13 rounds plus 9 DL's. That was harder than it looked. I might come in tomorrow and give EVA a shot if I have time.
Day 7 of the sugar challenge is over. This is actually getting pretty easy, I think I'll give up and try something harder.
