I am pretty sure that Elaine got the fastest time for the firebreather wod. I don't know what her time was and I could be wrong but I would check, unless you're certain.

Beautiful scene from Glacier Point. She looks really light on her feet.

Here is a link to those gymnastic grips I was using today. Mine had velcro but my dsl service is terrible now and could not find the link. Google for gymnastic hand grips. They are generally called 'beginner hand grips'. They protect the palm below the middle and ring fingers. If you don't have small hands, the palm below the pinky and index fingers are unprotected. They do not protect the fingers, so you will still need to tape if that's a problem. Guys generally need the largest size. Give mine a try if interested.

Day 19 done. I am almost hoping for a ripping rainstorm tomorrow. I would like to see how many burpees I can do.

I am going out right now to ride my bike around aquatic park and measure the distance. I believe its about 2 1/4 miles around. I would prefer to do the 10k around that rather than 12 laps of the building. What say ye.

Congrats on your gazillion burpees today, Polly! Did you hit 400? That's sooooo insane!

10k = 1 hour 22 minutes, or so.

I picked my socks badly - and managed to run the balls of my feet raw so I had to stop running about 1:08 in. SO CLOSE!

I have a dollar for anyone who did yesterday's workout and can flex & extend their quads freely today...

Nice job on the run and I also owe you one for that awesome post burpee marathon coconut! I would say more, but I am trying to extend my arms as little as possible today.

390 Burpees is awesome. Is PeeWee sore? Now that is an accomplishment. I would have liked to do that workout. Next time we can switch.

No sugar today :)
