WOD 090221
Four Rounds
In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The stations are:
1. Thruster 95#/65#(Reps)
2. Power Clean 95#/65# (Reps)
3. Front Squat 1.5Px2/1.0Px2(Reps)
4. Clap Push-Up (Reps)

The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep.

208, not-even-close-to-RX
Moving is still a challenge.
In other news, I vote that a future month of Firebreathers should be scored in either joules or watts.
Coach Pee-Wee convinced me to do the WOD I designed for Gita, basically by using math and humiliation.
"Fight Gone Bear"
1 Min Deadlift 95#
1 Min Hang Clean 95#
1 Min Front Squat 95#
1 Min Push-Jerk 95#
1 Min Back Squat 95#
237RX
On top of the other day's DL WOD, I am a bit worried about tomorrow's FBT. Might be luck to pull 1XBW let alone double.
By the way, I have noticed something interesting lately. I have been doing WODs inconsistently and not particularly often. However my metcon performance is still decent. I wonder if some sort of semi-permanent adaptation has taken place, along the lines of what happens with strength.
Math and humiliation. The prime motivators of CrossFit.
Jim- 249 rx
Cheryl- 249 not rx
We planned it, along with matching outfits.
208 RX
209 but not a single exercise was Rx. Doesn't mean I didn't work hard though. 'Cause I did. :-p
I beieve I finished 223 RX plus mostly C2B. Also fight gone bear was pretty awesome with 45#...even if the DOMS limits my max DL tonight (can't remmember my score though). Nice job finishing the fight gone bear Max! I think I am going to have to develop a better nickname though.
