Firebreather Throwdown:
Fight Gone Bad - five rounds
In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. We've used this in 3 and 5 round versions. The stations are:
1. Wall-ball: 20 pound ball, 10 ft target. (Reps)
2. Sumo deadlift high-pull: 75 pounds (Reps)
3. Box Jump: 20" box (Reps)
4. Push-press: 75 pounds (Reps)
5. Row: calories (Calories)
The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

Matthew was the Belle of the Ball. Don't know where he learned to snatch like that, I certainly cannot do it!
Congratulations all! Looks like a fun time.
Thanks for the great pictures of team "you'll be fine" The shot of Matthew is spectacular. My question is this: What is the cash payment I have to make to Crossfit Eastbay to suppress the picture of me. Is this another example of the rampant ageism in our society? You know the young are beautiful and energetic and the old are pathetic and can't even pull up their baggy shorts. Your punishment is that you will have to suffer me at FB workout tomorrow, I will come in a torn KALX tee-shirt (circa 1987) even baggier shorts and will spit, curse and wheeze my way through the workout. Take that children
That looks like a solid team you guys put together. I am in Oregon right now at the running and endurance certification, learning a lot of cool things. I'm proudly wearing my CFEB shirt, though not for long because it doesn't smell as good as it did this morning when I put it on.
Keep up the good work,
Leon
Oh Bill,
I hate to tell you but your complaint about the picture paralells the complaints I get from good-looking women about posting pictures of them working out. It's not about being pretty, it's about mechanics and yours in that pic are sterling so suck it up and enjoy your moment of fame.
Being some 20# overweight at the moment I understand the concerns, and of course I have the luxury of editing my fat ass out of the website... guess I will have to become more photogenic by the next throwdown...
hee, hee, he said fat ass
Dunno if its feasible for me to make it tomorrow to CF... Sorry guys, recoup and homework :o(
Leon: If you had taken my place, we would have won, no question. So sad you left.
Congratulations! You all Rock!
Happy Birthday Ana!
Good job guys! That looks sooo fun - I really want to go next time!
13:00 rx (only 1st 3 of ea set was c2b)
415 FBT (paced by resting 15-30 sec @ ea station)
the throwdown looks like fun. I'll try to get 4/4 off; otherwise it'll have to be may.
Fight Gone Worse 376 RX
This is same pace I achieved in September, but for two more rounds. Pretty happy with that, especially coming immediately after a strength workout.
296 rx
177 Rx (no box jumps)
398 - shitty strategy.
