Matthew and I will be at the big field in tilden park at 6 o'clock to run two laps of a 2.85 mile hill route, all welcome to join us.
Very disappointed by the turnout for this WOD. CrossFit is Functional Movement at High Intensity, Constantly Varied and performed across broad time and modal domains.
Maybe 10K is not sexy or fun, but is is certainly functional and can be intense if run all out.
I expect to see more of you at the less exciting journeyman workouts. Kalipha clearly would have won the games twice in a row if he had only had a better running game.
HUGE props to Raph who finished the 10K in less time than it took him for the 6.2K last time: 53:33, including big hills, nice work, Brother!

Max always said not to cherry-pick the workouts. I hate to run and suck at it, but that's why I need to do it. Not to mention that Shane was going to impose a $100 fine if I didn't do it.
I had to work late so I did my sexy run at lunch time. Got 'er done....
Giro and I both did our two laps (5.7miles) in the hills, Matthew did one lap. He's saving himself for the sexy workout tomorrow I guess. My legs are telling me that my wod tomorrow will be platonic.

Thanks for the props :o) In terms of the previous run, my legs were in pain and were super tight. It wasn't the best time for me to be running. After the 280 squat movements we did that wednesday after the CF Games, I had trouble walking for 5-6 days. I still did it, but that is the explanation of that run :oP
My time today could have been better had I not got lost too but whatever. Still probably could have pushed harder.
Anyways, Should be around tomorrow.
