WOD 090918

Run 2 miles.

20 minutes after the beginning of the run, entire group relay deadlifts one rep each, starting at 95 pounds and continuing in 10 pound jumps until failure. After all who are able have lifted a given weight, those remaining add 10 pounds. Deadlift continues until strongest athlete fails. There is no rest between lifts, except as needed, momentarily, to increase the weight.

195# Deadlift (PR)

I accidentally skipped from 175 to 195 and called it 185. Elaine and Lyn both got it, a PR. Interesting!

BTW I did two workouts today
A: an unremarkable 10K, wich seems to have saved me from crippling DOMS.
B: 3 Rounds
Row 1000 Meters
21 Bench Press 165

This was excellent and made me realize we really need to figure out how to bench.

13:50'ish on the 2mile (roughly 45-50s more than justin). + 335RX (The same weight Allan did).

I think 335RX is actually my current PR in the Deadlift. Still feeling some discomfort in the hip at higher weights. Definitely my max weight for today.

155# a 5# PR!

Managed to break 165# off the ground but couldn't stand up with it. a 15# PR would have been really cool :-p

Really liked the DL relay. it's interesting how many folks got a PR despite essentially crippling DOMS.
