Social Climbing at GWPC 6-9PM.

Come climb with the CFEB crew. If you don't know how this is a great opportunity to learn to top-rope: you don't need to own equipment, but there is a nominal fee for harness and shoe rental.

In the interest of promoting actual CLIMBING at Social Climbing *cough*allenpollyjennbrandon*cough*, here's what I accomplished on the wall tonight:

A fun 10a warmup by the stack with a couple nice jumps.

A very trick 10d DNF on the nasty wall by the arch with a big step-up crux that I just couldn't get my feet on. Alex solved it with (of course) a huge jump. I'll have to try it again.

A pleasant 10d (that felt much more like a 10b) that barely required any use of the hands at all.

A VERY challenging, delicate and technical 11a in the corner. Many falls and a LONG time to complete, but one of the most fun climbs I've done in recent memory.
