Is this a joke or serious? if this is actually the workout, how are the one armed pull-ups to be performed? The more I read, the more I like
I assume that the "one-arm" pullups are of the not-really-one-arm variety (ie, right hand grabs the bar, left hand grabs the right wrist). This was the standard put forth recently on the main page, at any rate.
Not a joke, but yeah: difficult, and likely rather long.
I'm really excited for this one. Pistols are one legged squats correct?
I think i'm going to try this one either later today or in the morning tomorrow. Can't quite do one-arm push-ups and may have to use a box for pistols.
54:15
Subbed 1-armed pushups with burpees.
I wanted to quit after 17 1-armed pullups knowing I had to get 50, but forged on.
roughly 75:00 min subbed half of the 1 arm pull ups with regs. single jumps for jump rope
60:50
Pretty much modified everything but it still kicked my ass. I think I spent 1/3rd of the time staring at the floor in exhaustion.
You guys are machines! This WOD is crossfit among crossfit (i.e. zumba is to crossfit as crossfit is to this WOD)! Ok, well maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration... but rock on!!! I think I'll have to try it this week just to see how long it takes me to peel my entrails off the walls afterwards!
Get some!
Made it up to Tahoe to celebrate the first powder day of the year! Of course my car also needed to be dug out of the parking lot as a result.
WOD 1: Snow shoveling for time - ~150 cu ft (2.5 high x 2 wide x ~30 ft car perimeter) in 10 min.
WOD 2: Awesome early season powder at Kirkwood.
Am going to do this workout Wed at GWPC if anyone else missed it and wants to do it then. Or if you wanted to do it again to keep me company...
B.,
first of all, where was my invitation to the snow? secondly, i may be game to do this on Wednesday.
