5:50 - 5 seconds slower than when I did this in November, but I'm actually quite happy given all the injury-substitutions and week of rest/recovery time I took. That said, thrusters felt unusually weak while the pullups were easier (I used a better rep scheme rather than getting into a pissing match with myself and trying to do 21 at once).
Warmed up with mobility exercises, Gita's flexibility drills, wall squats, etc.
5:07 (definitely felt yesterday's workout. pr was 3:59)
8:14 RX.
This is 29 seconds slower than when I did it in November. I was able to do repeat kipping pull ups (with only one swing in between rather than 2-3) for the first half of the workout and this is the first time I've been able to do that.
A thousand thank-yous to Gita and Polly for helping out tonight.
6:02rx pr by about 45 seconds, but i still see much room for improvement.
9:00 RX. improvement by 2:36 and PR. Always room to do better, as might have been possible if not for a moderately sluggish holiday break.
8:53 RX, PR. My wheezing was out of control on this (Jiro likened it to the sound of a kettle about to explode) but I still managed to knock 1 min and 8 seconds off my previous best. It was a particularly good day for pull ups.
This time 6:23RX
Last Time 7:27RX
Time before 8:22RX
Quite happy with this - PR of 5:45 from 2007 is in sight.
just got to this one on wednesday but after talking to Gita briefly about rep scheme (thank you very much!!!) I went from a 7:30 pissing contest to a 6:00 flat PR... broke up 12/9 -9/6 - 6/3 and went much better, obviously. thanks Gita.
