max, since I can't do burpees nor thrusters, which of the following sounds like a better idea:
a. 5 Rounds
5 thrusters (right arm) 2pood
10 box jumps (30")
10pushups
or:
b. 5 Rounds
5 box jumps (30")
5 2P snatch (right arm only)
10 pushups
or:
c.I came across this anywherefit routine that blair morrison (7th at last year's games) did last tuesday.
do 20 minutes AMRAP:
200 meter sandbag run (35 kg)
25 pushups
thoughts?
I say you start manning up.
8:43sc first workout i can remember in quite some time that i have scaled. after warming up with a few 155# thrusters i realized it was probably not gonna happen. probably didn't help that i was hungover and it was early
9:03 85#. It would have added a minute or two more to my time but I think I could have bumped it to 95. Next time.
16:00 @ 135# (heaviest thrusters yet attempted). Felt pretty good. 17 consecutive C2B pullups to start, a PR.
warmup: 35 pullups
WOD:
5 rounds with a 37.5# weight vest
10x box jumps @ 31"
5x 2P snatches (right arm)
9:46. Did 7 reps the first set for snatches (shooting for rounds of 10) and decided it was a bat idea (too much rest in between)
fun workout!
8:43 rx + 10 lbs
11:12 scaled to 135. 17 kipping pull ups.
8:52, scaled too much: 55#
65# at least next time
shoulder still sore, subbed Front squats @ 130 for thrusters. Sounds easy but was still pretty hard.
