WOD 100626

45 reps thruster 95/65

For each unrack*, or missed rep perform:

5 Burpee
10 Kettlebell swing 1.5P/1.0P

before continuing to perform thrusters.

10 minute limit.

* bar may rest in rack or overhead only

Are the burpees/KBs to be performed at the moment of dropping the bar, or do you keep track and do them all after the thrusters are done?

At the moment of drop before moving on.

I'm catching up from yesterday:

15x65 lb OHS: Pass

7X45lb - 7x50lb - 11x56lb Press

Then took a DL 1RM experimenting with sumo stance. 165-185-195 (PR!)

And just to see if I could still do it, worked up to 3MUs in a row (apparently I *could* still do it)

5:45 Rx

25 Thrusters - 10 - 10

I feel like such a wuss.

4.5mi run in Golden Gate Park - Fartlek-style on the trails/hills, ~35min

DNF. I should've scaled it. 11-4-4-1. winded and kinda weak.

then did presses 7-7-7, 79#,92#,105#
missed the day we figured out 5 RM OHS, so tried to do that. 5 @ 95, 100, 115 (4 fail), 120 (4 fail) kept losing my balance. then did 15 @ 65#

DNF, scaled to 75#, 15, 4, 11, 4 = 34. Just to know I can do all 45: I did 5 more burpees, 10 more KBS and 11 more thrusters. I will get it next time.

just under 5:30... felt like I left too much in the tank. This was a workout like fran to empty it.
