I do not look forward to this workout.

I can get about 20 double-unders in one go if I'm really on top of it. If I got 20 at a time every time, I would have to do 90 burpees and 180 box jumps. Whee!

You can do option two, or try option one with the sure knowledge that you will not finish. Or maybe suddenly get way better at D-U...

I choose option D: clone myself, force my clone to practice nothing but DUs (with some burpees and box jumps thrown in as well), and send my clone to class.

I'm in the same boat as Andi. =(

Sweet, together we can develop a clone army! A clone army that's... really really good at jumping rope! :)

Clone James too. He can coach your jump roping clones.

Beginner/Intermediate
19:33

First attempt Advanced:

DNF (161)

Second attempt Advanced (first four rounds with shitty rope that was way too short):

DNF (109) ... First four rounds -> 4-1-3-4. Once I switched (traded off with Joe D, I averaged nearly 25 for the next four rounds)

Third WOD - Beginner/Intermediate:

13:54

19:46 RX for Beg/Intermediate workout.

Raf you're insane buddy. Speaking of insane, thanks for being our peer pressure-induced bad decision making ringleader tonight Joe.

1) Advanced wod - DNF, 145 total - 3 or 4 bad sets at the beginning, I actually set two new pr's after that though at 43 and 44 consecutive.

2) Beginner wod - 15:18

DNF. I was running on the 4th round when the clock ran out. Then finished the D-U.

MT

Thank you Brandon for the shout out. Yes, I made Brandon, Brian, and Raf do the beginner WOD AFTER we just did the advanced, mainly because I wanted to feel accomplished at something.

Adv. WOD - DNF (44) DU's were not coming together at all

Beginner WOD - 18:02 Rx - DU's didn't come together till the last round. FML

Advanced DNF (163)

I think this is actually a far better workout of acceptance and humility than it is of metabolic capacity. Though it ain't bad in that regard, either.

MT

18:21 Rx on advanced
Did a single skip between each double under, it is slower and wastes energy but it helped me keep my rhythm. Definately a keeper for hard workouts, burpees actually felt like rest during this one.
Also overtrained by throwing in the beginner wod upon the rec of Joe D. 14:30 something on that one.

DNF on begineer. My single skip-double under method helped, but wasted a lot of energy and time.

Beginner WOD: 16:24 RX
