Scaling by Front Range CrossFit
As many rounds as needed to complete 150 "Lewin-Style" reps of Double-Unders:
- 15 deadlift 225/145 every three minutes on the third minute starting at minute zero
- Max rep double-under until 150 are completed
Score is time to completion on Double-Under.
Nine minute limit.

DNF. I should've scaled-down my DL weight.
DNF: got 108 double-unders and did all 45 DLs with 155lbs
DNF. I should've scaled the DL. The sound of the metal plates hitting the concrete drove me crazy.
DNF, 105 doubleunders, 145 deadlifts.
Round 1: @148# RX 5:14
Round 2: @163# RX+ 5:30
Both rounds were done in same sets ie 15 unbroken at min 0 then 10-5 at min 3. Doubleunders set apart the 2 times. I really, really didn't want to do another set of DL and was definitely what made me push hard with the DU. I kinda liked this workout. Next time I'll try a higher weight.
DNF, 145# DL, somewhere around 65 DU. My callused hands are killing me!

45 DUs and 240 SUs (got frustrated of not being able to do DUs and decided to do normal jump ropes for the last 2 rounds)
DNF at 120 - 250# DLs
DL weight was actually about right, but I couldn't string together double unders to save my life. Not sure if it was the DLs, the rope, or just me.

I liked this workout.
Finished in 2 rounds RX 5:58
Did 10 extra double unders.
I pushed myself to get 98 double unders in the first round. Was definitely tired doing the 2nd round of dead lifts.

Will do more weight next time, try and keep up with team bad decision's member Brandon, going for the big 2-5-0 DL. I needs to gets one of them ropes Riam has. It was the thing that got me through.....honestly. Thanks Riam!

I needed 14 double-unders heading into the third round. It took me 2:45 to get them.
speaking of bad idea's i was thinking about doing a workout tomorrow either before or after class (because I don't have work)

DNF: 145lb deadlift and 123DU
I probably should have scaled up the deadlift weight to 185 even though I couldn't finish the DU's (I don't think it would have made much of a difference). I just need to learn now do string more than 10 DU's together at a time consistently.
Joe I'm glad the rope worked out for you. Hopefully I'll be able to fix mine as it broke.
did at crossfit of fremont with 225 DL and I need to keep working vigorously at DU's... got to 75 /DNF
got to 48 of them in the first round and basically did singles after that before I threw my rope across the gym when the timer went off.. this was not one of my better days fo' sho'
