Don't wear shorts.
Calculate your percentages in advance.
Anyone ignoring this advice may face 100 burpees in addition to the "WOD of the day"...
what happened to 12/13 of OHS? I was psyched for that.
We will get there. Patience.
Go Maximus, work her hard. :)

I'll wait for Jess to post for the entire sequence, she wrote them down. 250(PR) pass. 260 fail.
215 PR @ 102.5%. I rule!
350# (107.5%) - this entry should protect me from extra burpees in the next wod...
400# dead lift, 45 pounds over my previous PR!!
bench press afterward
225x5-225x5-235x5-235x5-245x4
170- 185- 190- 210- 220(PR)- 230(PR)- 240(fail)- 235(PR)- 240(PR!)
112% of previous 1RM - increase of 25#.
Very nice work. Particular kudos to AJ who did the whole cycle and pulled a 45# PR at 400#.
Let this be a lesson to those of you who skip strength workouts.
Also great lift by Jessica B - 240#, a 25# PR.
On another note, it is very unrewarding as a coach to work hard on programming, help folks with lifts and then have them complain about getting lifetime PRs. Be satisfied with actual PRs. Then get some more.
Apaparently, I rule and didn't know it. Not being satisfied with your performance can be motivating as well. Being disappointed doesn't equate to self-loathing.
60%,70%, 80%, 90%= pass.
102.5% = 345# = fail.
110% = did not attempt.
340# = PR = I ROCK!
60% x 20 = pass.
50% x 30 = pass.
DL: 175, 205, 235, 260 = pass
300 (102.5%=PR)
305 (105%=PR)
312 (107.5%=fail)
110% =no attempt)
At least a 15# increase from previous DL PR.
60%=30x185 (10,10,10)
50%=30x155 (12, 8, 5)
Were we supposed to do these consecutively? Supposed to only do 20reps on the 1st set, so I messed up.
OHS 15RM @ 95# =pass
Bench press= 12x145, 9x155, 6x165
Maybe I should keep that rickety-ass wheel barrow that I was gonna get rid of and make/get some sand bags.
Did you see what happened to the "heavy-duty" one in the last heat??
340#, which is 15# over the 1RM I established a couple months back and matches the lifetime PR I set over a year ago (with horrendous form) after a 10-week strength cycle. A very pleasant surprise - I didn't expect to see that number again for a while.
Those were not what I'd call "heavy duty" wheel barrows. But yea I saw it. Maybe that's why they didn't get real wheel barrows. I thought they said before the start that if their wheel barrow broke they had to carry the bags, that guy just grabbed someone else's.
Missed Saturday, redid it Sunday Evening.

This one is a keeper. Missed it last week, did it Monday night right before the gym closed.
70% - 240
80% - 275
90% - 315
102.5% - 355 (PR)
105% - 365 (PR)
**365 was tough so I just tried 375. DNF.
Gym was closing so knocked out 15x70% (240) and called it a night.
20# PR is nothing to sneeze at. Looking forward to breaking 400# deadlift and 200# overhead press. They'll probably happen about the same time.
Made this up on Tue 7/20.
