i'll be doing an alternate wod: 5 rounds of 24 hours fighting off the nastiest strep throat ever. scaling: use of amoxicillin and vicodin
So usually I check the WOD the night before, see what I'm going to be thrown into, get myself mentally prepared. Thank you Max for sending me to bed with a very high chance of nightmares.
We can always cross our fingers and hope that the WOD is "Eat this cookie for time."

Oh I know I know! We're at BIW tomorrow and there's a rope there! And the last two photos were of the athletes climbing. Ok, ok got it. No shorts or else thigh high socks.
Haha, have fun kids! Actually I'm sort of disappointed I'm missing the mind-games. I think that means I have a "problem" of sorts.
I intend on showing up... drunk or hungover. Does anyone else get a funny feeling when they climb the rope?
I'm betting on sandbag or buddy carry! Maybe reshuffling the BIW gym equipments!

I'm sorry to miss this wardrobe nightmare of a WOD, I'll be playing a civilized game of tennis in preparation of our second round of playoffs this Saturday. Cannot wait to hear what it is!

For the record, I have no idea what the workout is either. I am trying to convince Max to text it to me a little after 6 and I can do it then (and tell anyone else who is present and interested at the time).
God dammit. Was gonna skip tonight but I can't resist a mystery workout.

2) Assistance exercises:
A) Bulgarian split squats with 20# dumbells 3x5 each leg
B) Sitting deadlifts 5x5--65#, 75#, 80#, 85#, 90#
C) Pistols (assisted)--10 each side

I was convinced it was only 50 reps at the end, and had already assumed the post-WOD party escort submission position when Max informed me it was 200. Rude shock. But not as rude as going down my stairs on Friday is going to be.
29:12. My nightmares were so much worse. Still, loved doing this WOD and had even more fun watching the 6PM crew do it!
for those of us who had pre existing plans (scared to show) someone break down what this mystery workout consisted of

200m walking lunge
Run 200m
200m broad-jump burpees

200 jump squats
Those second two "Run 200m" should really be "Stagger/Wobble 200m".
42:14 RX. This was a killer WOD; I loved every excruciating minute of it...now for the soreness.
damn... well, I did 5x5 OHS at 140lbs in 12 minutes then did similar to raf just by coincidence
10 minute AMRAP (1/2 "mary") but stopped exactly at 9:30 since I was in a hurry...
5 HSPU - hands on 25lb bumpers so have to go below parallel static
10 pistols
15 pull ups
4 rounds + 5hspu
44 something...it's gonna take a few days for my legs to get back to normal.
