WOD 100711

In teams of two:

800 meter Farmers Walk 1.5/1.0P

- each athlete alternates carrying both Kettlebells at once
- each time athlete carrying Kettlebell puts it down, other athlete performs 25 burpees
- Kettlebell cannot rest on any part of the body at any time
- Kettlebell must hang from the hands while being carried

To choose teams athletes will line up by height the shortest and tallest athletes will be one team the second shortest and and second tallest will be the next etc. In the case of an uneven number of people the three middle people will form a team and perform 50 burpees before setting out.

Here is my "half-volume" version of today's WOD:
300m (w/1.5p x2), 12 Burpees followed by 5 more 100m (w/1.5p x2), 12 B's, solo in 16:32. In hind sight, I don't think that format constitutes "half-volume".

24+ or 28+ minutes, Can't remember. I did 800m with 1.5 KB x2 and set them down 5 times I think. My partner for this was Monica (her first Crossfit class) so her half was scaled. Monica set down the light green KB 2 times so I only had to do 50 burpees.

Then 5x5 pull ups (ment to do sets of 10 but couldn't hold the bar)

OHS 15 RM @ 85# pass

DL 3x210#, 240#, 270# ( I should've been able to do more on the last set but forgot to)

With Lynne--15:18 RX. We only passed it off twice, so 25 burpees each.

I totally messed up on the math for my DL. I did 70, 80 and 90% or 1RM. oh well.

Didn't we just do a farmer's walk yesterday? My forearms still hurt from that :(
