Whoa.
that all?!?
Not that I relish the idea of running a mile, THEN doing 50 burpees, and then only being about half done...but it's just Bizzaro-World Murph.
And by half done, I meant half done with the round. Bizzaro-World is crazy.
If the verdict on Mehserle comes back "not guilty" tomorrow afternoon, I'm not sure I'll want to be running three miles in downtown Oakland....
If the verdict is announced tomorrow there will be a sub for running.
When I first read this I didn't think it was terrible, then I realized it was 3 rounds.
Ow.
Oh man...
WHY?!!!!
Ow.
I'll be there!
I'm so sad, it seems I've come down with a bit of a cold. So unfortunate that I can't make this one...have fun you guys
Nice WOD.
I, like Joe, can't make it. Too much work. But I hope this kind of nuttiness continues when I'm back.
56:39. So incredibly psyched that I finished it.
54:54RX incredibly tough workout. really a test of mental fortitude on the runs, ipod helped a lot
DNF
1) 6:30am - 6 mile run in Sibley (sp?) Park in Oakland, moderate pace
2) This behemoth. 58:16...no ipod ;c) That was friggin brutal.
2 rounds + 800m run RX
Almost puked.
2 rounds Rx 53:00 plus, thank goodness AJ was sick or he would have lapped me. It's fun to see that many people work that hard. On the friday of a long weekend no less.
2 rounds plus 1600 meter run.
I was too slow doing the burpees doing the first round...I let them freak me out.
2 Rounds +800m RX. My ankle and shin keep getting more and more sore, so my 8 minute miles turned into 13 minute miles or something like that. So what I am saying is--overall--it sucked.
DNF. 2 rounds, 25 burpees, 45 KB swings, 60 situps. So 87 reps shy of finishing.
It's funny how attendance correlates to the insanity of a workout in a manner opposite of what you would expect.
DNF: 2 rounds plus 10 burpees and 16 KBS (1.5p).
Since I love to look at the totals...
6000m row + 110 burpees + 150 KBS + 200 sit ups all in 60 minutes. When I look at it this way even a DNF is cool. Next time I am certain to finish all of it in time.
That is certainly the right way to think about it Scott. Nice work.
DNF: went over time (by 15 min) but did all reps anyway.
Also, was up in the mountains, so subbed a big rock for kettlebell. Probably a lot less weight, but a lot harder to hold on to.
Then descended 3000ft in 15miles - and then rode partially back up the downhill trail to retrieve friend with a broken arm.
