Paleo Challenge 26/29

Day 9 of low-carb paleo. Have lost 6.5 pounds, and down 3% bodyfat. Deadlift still strong (385x4 P=435). Climbing easier. Have almost no interest in food, which is a first for me.

Andi did not like this diet and is doing paleo + milk (and maybe a squidgen of bread). A Doctor prescribed a 3000+ calorie diet for her post-concussion based on her activity level and high metabolism, which she found hard to meet on paleo, even with sweet potatoes.

I'm still not sure what I will do long-term. I plan to add back in dairy but not grains, and see what that does in between challenges "A" and "B". I will probably bring back the "cheat day", but limit my cheats to things like white potatoes, small amount of alcohol and, possibly chocolate.

I will be inviting those who did the challenge out for pizza and beer to see just how bad/delicious it really is.

Go easy on the reintroduction of nonpaleo items. The first time I ate bread, I had a terrible headache and felt really bloated.....

Ciao from Italia! Looks like you guys are working hard back at home! My only exercise so far is the 10+ miles I walk every day around Rome with heavy hiking boots. My diet is pretty much the exact opposite of paleo. Little to no protein, lots of bread, cheese, more bread, wine, and beer. In fact the only meat I have eaten is cured cold cuts. So good! Paleo challenege B will be a wake up call. Hope you all are doing well back there. Boun Natale!

Bex & Daniel - all days complete - we're going to a non-paleo friend's house for dinner tonight though which might be a bit of a challenge.

24/29 complete.

I plan on continuing paleo after these 29 days, but with a small amount of dairy throughout the day since I'm still hungry all the time. I have no interest in eating grains again, and plan to do without them.
