Congratulations to Jenn Tse for winning the Top Overall CF Female Lifter at the powerlifting meet at CrossFit Pleasanton this weekend! And great work to Amanda as well - there were PRs all around.
WOD 2011-01-12
Five rounds for time of:
10 Wall climbs
10 V-ups
20 Box jumps, 24" box
For the wall climbs, start with your toes and chest on the deck, walk your feet up the wall until your chest touches the wall, and then descend back to the original position.

Max: I know this is a lame question but what is a good sub for the V-Ups. I did GHDs on Friday and my abs still feel like I got the shit beat out of me.

Raf: if you can't do V-ups, you might want to reconsider the whole workout - the wallclimbs can use quite a bit of core tension.
If you can do the wallclimbs or their sub (inchworm walkouts), then I'd say KB swings instead of V-ups.
In Madison, WI. Subbed 20 situps for Vups. 25min 30 sec. Not as clean as the people on the web but I did mess up the red matte paint with my chucks. They need a tuffer gym.

Did the first 25 as toes-2-bar instead of v-ups. Then common sense kicked in.
1 round of walk outs and last 4 rounds were Half wall stands... but i'm told I finally have active shoulders!
